Miami Dolphins star running back De’Von Achane left the field after suffering an apparent injury in the second quarter against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium.

Achane left the game and entered the blue medical tent on the sideline. He was seen gingerly exiting the field with medical trainers and heading to the locker room.

The Dolphins announced Achane was dealing with a rib injury. His status is questionable to return.

Achane was off to a fast start with 8 touches for 105 total yards and a touchdown in the first half against the Jets.

Miami led New York 21-7 at the 2-minute warning of the first half.

Jaylen Wright plays after Achane injury

Dolphins running back Jaylen Wright has taken over the Miami backfield in the wake of Achane’s apparent injury.

Wright, a second-year back out of Tennessee, has 8 carries for 31 yards and a touchdown in the first half.
