For Trick Williams, joining WWE’s main roster doesn’t emerge as just a career step; it becomes a dream come true to his personal life as well. The former NXT Champion is now officially on WWE SmackDown, and he is sharing his every moment with none other than his fiancée, Lash Legend.
Their relationship story goes back to around 2021–2022, when they both signed with WWE and started training at the Performance Center. They started as friends, and with time, their relationship grew.
At first, they kept things private. But backstage, they had gained a reputation as a couple who pushed each other to improve in NXT. By 2024, WWE briefly showed their relationship on NXT TV.
In November 2025, Williams proposed to Legend during Thanksgiving with their families around. The engagement came to light on November 28, and the couple is looking to get married soon.
Trick Williams Feels Like He’s on a Honeymoon Every Week
On a recent episode of In The Kliq, host Baby Huey asked Williams how it feels to be called together with Legend in WWE SmackDown around the same time and what it is like to share the special moment of their career.
Williams said it almost feels unreal.
“Man, I feel like, you know, I cracked a cheat code in life, you know, where me and my fiancée travel the world every single week. And they pay for it. You know what I mean? Like we on honeymoon every single week,” he said.
“We’re on live television and we just enjoy each other. We enjoy being together at this exciting time in life. So, I mean, we both grateful. We’re on cloud nine, man. We engaged, getting married soon, got a house and everything. So, it’s just a great time, man. And it’s good to be with someone who understands you as a person and you as the performer as well, you know, so we can always support each other,” Williams added.
For Williams, the biggest win isn’t titles or TV time. It’s building a life with someone who understands the wrestling lifestyle, the travel, the pressure, and everything that comes with it.
