NFL quarterback ranking: Where does Jets’ Tyrod Taylor sit in Week 14?

New York Jets quarterback Tyrod Taylor will lead his team into battle against the Miami Dolphins at home at MetLife Stadium.
The Jets (3-9) need a big effort from their QB against Miami (5-7). Like most teams, the Jets go where their quarterback takes them.

Taylor, recently named the starter for his team, is a longtime NFL veteran. But where does he rank amongst his peers heading into Sunday?

31. Tyler Shough, New Orleans Saints

The Saints made a late push after trailing 16-0 to the Dolphins at halftime. Shough & Co. fell short in the end.
30. Shedeur Sanders, Cleveland Browns

Not as much magic this week for Sanders in his second game. Just 149 passing yards and one touchdown in a 26-8 loss to the 49ers.

Ward is avoiding mistakes recently. The Titans still only managed three points.

Taylor looked better than Justin Fields in his first start but the Jets didn’t get points. This time they did in a final score 27-24 win against the Falcons.

Smith was solid completing 18-of-23 passes, but the Raiders weren’t close against the Chargers.
26. Jaxson Dart, New York Giants

The score line of a 33-15 loss doesn’t look as bad for Dart and the Giants. The Patriots still rolled in this one.

25. Marcus Mariota, Washington Commanders

Cousins was steady but the Falcons partly lost to the Jets because of him. In the final minutes he did not have it.
23. Aaron Rodgers, Pittsburgh Steelers

The Bills came out and dominated the Steelers in the second half in a 26-7 final. Rodgers was roughed up and his fumble was a key point.
22. Bryce Young, Carolina Panthers

What Panthers will we see week-to-week? No one knows but Young had three touchdowns in an upset over the Rams in a 31-28 final.

Brissett and the Cards were done in by some turnovers vs. the Bucs. He still is rolling with 301 passing yards and two touchdowns.
19. Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins

Maye and the Patriots flew out of the gate. It made their 33-15 win over the Giants look like a 53-15 win.
4. Jared Goff, Detroit Lions
