Paul McCartney Sang Over SNL Goodnights

Sir Paul lets loose on SNL.

This is why he’s never going to do a Netflix roast. Sir Paul is loyal to Lorne. Paul McCartney closed on Saturday Night Live season 51 with a surprise encore performance during goodnights. After Will Ferrell got through thanking the many, many cameos from the night’s episode (Aziz Anasri, Molly Shannon, the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Chad Smith), Ferrell ushered McCartney back to the side stage, where he played “Coming Up” off McCartney II.
Elsewhere in the episode, McCartney got to make some jokes. He appeared in a sketch about nonsense-speaking mechanics who take Mikey Day for a ride. As in he, Will Ferrell, and Marcello Hernández all do him up the butt. Apparently gas and grass are off the table, but you can still pay in ass.
