Voters in the greater Montreal area have decided who will lead their cities for the next four years.
Here is a breakdown of who won the mayoral races in Montreal’s demerged municipalities, the South Shore and Laval.

South Shore
- Longueuil: Catherine Fournier, the mayor of Longueuil, is projected to be re-elected. CBC News projected her win less than 10 minutes after polls closed. She secured more than 90 per cent of the early vote. Her competitor, Sacha Parisella, had announced his intention to run against her less than a month ago.
Laval
- Stéphane Boyer, Laval’s current mayor, is projected to be re-elected.
West Island
