Hope Street’s Niamh McGrady has praised the long-running ‘cosy crime’ series for giving opportunities to local actors and bringing stars back home.

The Castlewellan actor, who also appeared in The Fall and Holby City, said she and her on-screen husband Aaron McCusker had benefited hugely from the show, set in the fictional town of Port Devine, and filmed in Donaghadee.
