Logan Paul aligns with The Vision, for now

This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw opened with new World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk calling out everybody, and eventually getting an answer from Logan Paul and The Vision. Initially, Paul seemed to come down on the side of Punk, choosing to help the champ fend off the hard charging heel group.
Indeed, shortly after Punk & Jey Uso went to a disqualification against Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed in the night’s main event, Paul hit the scene to once again make like he was going to fight on the babyface team. Only this time, he turned against them and aligned himself with The Vision:
Paul was clear early on that he wants a shot at the world heavyweight championship, so it makes all the sense in the world for him to turn on Punk here. In fact, it never made any sense for him to fight alongside him. The fans simply do not want to cheer for this man.
But the bigger picture appears to be the War Games match at Survivor Series.
It wasn’t long ago that rumors called for a Vision team led by then Champion Seth Rollins against a babyface squad headed up by Roman Reigns and CM Punk. Rollins is out now, sure, but it appears as though they’re going to move ahead with the plan anyway and simply put Paul in his place. His giving Paul Heyman the brass knuckles would seem to signify a temporary alliance just ahead of the big show in San Diego.
Like where this appears to be going?
