How to watch election coverage on NY1

Spectrum News NY1 will allow all viewers free access to our coverage for Election Day.
The access begins at 6 a.m. and will run through Wednesday.
Viewers will also be able to watch for free on Spectrum News NY1’s digital platforms.
The mayoral candidates are Queens Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani, the Democratic nominee; “The Guardian Angels” founder Curtis Sliwa, the Republican nominee; and former Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who is running as an independent.
Incumbent Mayor Eric Adams announced that he was ending his reelection campaign late September.
Other races to watch are for Public Advocate, where incumbent Jumaane Williams is facing a challenge from Gonzalo Duran, a Republican, and Marty Dolan, an independent candidate on “The Unity” Party line.
City Comptroller Brad Lander, who was a candidate in the Democratic primary for, is not running for reelection. Mark Levine, a Democrat, Peter Kefalas, a Republican, and Ismael Malavé Pérez, an independent candidate on “The Unity” Party line, are vying for Lander’s seat.
There are also elections for many City Council seats, for four borough president seats and for Manhattan district attorney, as well as elections in all five boroughs for some civil court judgeships.
Aside from electing local officials into office, voters will also weigh in on proposed changes to the city’s charter.
How to watch

Polls are open across the five boroughs from 6 a.m. through 9 p.m. on Election Day.
