Lady Gaga is rumored to announce new UK tour dates with the reveal of “Total Mayhem,” a sequel to the deluxe edition of “Mayhem”

Lady Gaga is allegedly set to announce new tour dates in the UK alongside the announcement of Total Mayhem. This new album will reportedly be a sequel to the deluxe edition of her latest album, Mayhem.

Gaga’s sixth studio album, Mayhem, dropped on March 7, 2025. As of this writing, Gaga has not announced a deluxe edition of her album. However, the aforementioned rumors claim she is set to release the same at the end of November. Total Mayhem will be a separate album from Mayhem, serving as its sequel.

Lady Gaga is rumored to announce new tour dates at UK stadiums for next year. This announcement is expected to come with the reveal of “TOTAL MAYHEM,” a sequel to the deluxe edition of her album “MAYHEM”, expected to be released at the end of November.

The reports further suggest that Lady Gaga’s UK tour dates will include shows in London’s Wembley Stadium and Liverpool’s Anfield Stadium. This leg will mark the final leg of Gaga’s European leg of her ongoing Maybem Ball tour, set to end in May 2026. This tour is designed to promote Mayhem and already included concert dates in the UK.

Gaga has performed in the UK for four nights during September and October this year. She wrapped up the British leg of her ongoing tour with two other shows in Manchester in October. The singer had previously mentioned that the Mayhem Ball tour would not include stadium performances and would be comparatively shorter than her other tours.

However, Lady Gaga has since then changed her mind, expanding her show to include multiple other venues, including stadium concerts in Australia. It remains to be seen if she returns to the UK once again next year or announces a new album. No official confirmation has been made as of this writing.

“I didn’t want to box myself in” – Lady Gaga shares details about the process of making Mayhem

In a March 2025 interview with Vogue after the release of Mayhem, Lady Gaga opened up about the process of making the album. She mentioned that she wanted to have a “free experience” while making it.

“I didn’t want to box myself in. As boxed-in as I have felt by anyone being critical of my music over the years, I realized that I was my biggest critic—I was also boxing myself in. I wanted to do something that embraced my earliest memories with music and my signature approach to pop. I had been really afraid to do that for a long time,” Gaga said.

Lady added that once she let go of such inhibitions, she could “endlessly create” and music came to her very naturally. Speaking further about the title, using the term “total mayhem”, she mentioned:

“It was almost like saying hi to an old friend—and it was total mayhem. Whether it was this genre or that genre, I took whatever came out, and made it all come together to be wholly me.”

Lady Gaga also shared details about the themes she covered in the album and how she allowed herself to have “any emotion that was coming while she was writing.”

“There’s records [on the album] where it’s about seduction, that voice in your head trying to make bad decisions. There’s moments where life is putting pressure on you, and you need to rise to the occasion. There’s moments about temptation and adrenaline; about anger and fame. Then there’s peak confidence, where I’m just feeling the best I could possibly feel at a party. Or when I’m missing somebody that’s no longer in my life, and I’m reflecting on ways that I wish life was different. But ultimately, I wanted the chaos and the mayhem to end,” she said.

Lady Gaga described Mayhem as an album having an “arc”, as it begins in a disorderly fashion, before becoming calmer, peaceful, and ends on a hopeful note. She noted that the album slows down with tracks like Blade of Grass and ends with one of her most popular collaborations, Die with A Smile, featuring Bruno Mars. Gaga and Mars notably won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance this year for the song.

Lady Gaga is currently on the Mayhem Ball tour and the album is available for streaming on all platforms.
