Waiver Wire Winners for Fantasy Football – Week 12

Waiver Wire Winners – Christian Watson
Week 12 of Fantasy Football has arrived, and I’ve highlighted my top waiver wire targets. These players are rostered in fewer than 55% of Fantrax leagues. To accommodate different league formats and roster sizes, I’ve provided plenty of options.

Waiver Wire Winners for Fantasy Football – Week 12
Emmanuel Wilson (RB, Packers)
Emmanuel Wilson played 71% of the snaps in Week 11 due to Josh Jacobs sustaining a knee injury. Wilson rushed 11 times for 40 yards and a touchdown, with a nine-yard catch for 13.9 Fantasy Points. Jacobs could miss time, which makes Wilson a must-add player off the waivers. Wilson has finished three weeks with 40+ rushing yards and three weeks with 11+ Fantasy Points.
Kenneth Gainwell (RB, Steelers)
Kenneth Gainwell rushed nine times for 24 yards and caught seven balls for 81 yards with two receiving touchdowns in Week 11 for 29.5 Fantasy Points. Jaylen Warren injured his ankle in the third quarter, which could mean a big rise in Gainwell’s role if Warren misses time. Back in Week 4, when Gainwell stepped in as the RB1, he rushed 19 times for 99 yards and two touchdowns with six receptions for 35 yards, which was 31.4 Fantasy Points.
Christian Watson (WR, Packers)
Christian Watson caught four of his five targets for 46 yards and scored two touchdowns for 20.6 Fantasy Points in Week 11. Watson has finished four straight games with 45+ receiving yards with 21+ yards per catch in three of those weeks. Watson has historically had receiving yard and touchdown upside that has translated well for Fantasy Football. Playing 82% then 78% of the snaps the last two weeks shows he is getting healthier and further from his ACL tear recovery.
Darnell Mooney (WR, Falcons)
Drake London suffered a PCL injury in Week 11, which will mean missing minimal Week 12. Darnell Mooney could assume the WR1 role with Drake London injured and has been targeted 15 times across the last two weeks. Mooney has finished four weeks with 15+ yards per catch this season, and nearly produced 1,000 receiving yards just last season.
Sean Tucker (RB, Buccaneers)
Sean Tucker rushed 19 times for 106 yards (5.6 yards per carry) with two rushing touchdowns and also caught two balls for 34 yards and a receiving touchdown. 34 Fantasy Points was massive in Week 11. Tucker rushed nine more times than Rachaad White and definitely showed a higher rushing ceiling. If Bucky Irving misses more time, Tucker could operate as the lead back with clear upside if given similar volume.
Chris Rodriguez (RB, Commanders)
Chris Rodriguez rushed 15 times for 79 yards with a six-yard catch in Week 11. Rodriguez finished with 16 touches vs. Jacory Croskey-Merritt’s 10 and out-produced JCM 85 scrimmage yards to 33. Rodriguez has three rushing touchdowns across the last five weeks and has 65/79 rushing yards in two of his last three games. This backfield might continue to be a committee, but Rodriguez looks like the 1A.
Tyler Allgeier (RB, Falcons)
Tyler Allgeier scored his seventh rushing touchdown of the season in Week 11. Allgeier has finished five weeks with double-digit rushing attempts, four weeks with double-digit Fantasy Points, and two weeks with 15+ Fantasy Points. Allgeier can have stand-alone value based on game script, has touchdown upside, and at minimum is one of the better handcuffs to stash for Fantasy Football behind Bijan Robinson.
Jayden Higgins (WR, Texans)
Jayden Higgins caught four of his seven targets for 55 yards in Week 11. The week prior, Higgins caught five of his seven targets for 42 yards and a touchdown for 15.2 Fantasy Points. In Week 8, Higgins caught four of his eight targets for 34 yards and a touchdown for 13.4 Fantasy Points. The second-round rookie has earned seven or more targets in three of his last four games with a touchdown in two of those, showing signs of rising.
Luther Burden III (WR, Bears)
Luther Burden caught three of his season-high five targets in Week 11 for 27 yards. Burden has been rising in his role with Chicago, playing 49% then 44% of the snaps the last two weeks after never playing more than 28% this season. Burden is a dynamic rookie second-round talent who has finished three weeks with 50+ receiving yards and produced 101 yards and a touchdown back in Week 3. Stash solid talent.
Michael Wilson (WR, Cardinals)
Michael Wilson stepped up as the WR1 with Marvin Harrison Jr out injured in Week 11. Wilson caught 15 of his 18 targets for 185 receiving yards, which is 33.5 Fantasy Points. Massive volume paired with great production. I don’t know if we can trust Wilson as the third target behind Trey McBride and MHJ when Arizona are at full strength, but if MHJ misses more time, Wilson could have solid FLEX appeal.
Devin Singletary (RB, Giants)
Devin Singletary rushed 16 times for 44 yards and two touchdowns in Week 11, with a three-yard reception for 17.7 Fantasy Points. Singletary finished with three receptions for 53 yards the week prior. While Singletary is the RB2 behind Tyrone Tracy Jr., he can have stand-alone value due to the committee this backfield looks to be operating in.
Brian Robinson Jr. (RB, 49ers)
Brian Robinson Jr. has finished back-to-back games with eight rushing attempts and has scored a rushing touchdown in two of his last three games. BRob rushed for 53 yards on five attempts (10.6 yards per carry) in Week 9, then 41 yards on eight attempts (5.1 yards per carry) in Week 9. As a former starter who had Fantasy Football impacts, BRob is a great handcuff to stash behind Christian McCaffrey, who would be very useful if he landed the RB1 role.
Keaton Mitchell (WR, Ravens)
Keaton Mitchell finished Week 11 with a season-high eight touches for a season-high 54 scrimmage yards. Mitchell has finished weeks with 10.8 (Week 8), 7.8 (Week 10), and 5.2 (Week 11) yards per carry, showing solid efficiency signs. Mitchell is a good handcuff to stash behind Derrick Henry.
Bhayshul Tuten (RB, Jaguars)
Bhayshul Tuten rushed 15 times for 74 yards and a touchdown in Week 11, which was 13.4 Fantasy Points. Tuten scored 15.4 Fantasy Points back in Week 2 on 10 touches for 54 scrimmage yards and a touchdown. Tuten is a solid running back handcuff to stash behind Travis Etienne Jr., but we will need to monitor the ankle injury he sustained in Week 12 to understand if he should be picked up.
Blake Corum (RB, Rams)
Blake Corum finished Week 11 inefficient on the ground and through the air, but still earned nine touches. Corum earned 12+ touches in each of his three prior games before Week 11. The uptick in work is encouraging, and Corum is a great handcuff to stash behind Kyren Williams due to the upside he would have with the Kyren workload if needing to step in as the RB1.
Tank Bigsby (RB, Eagles)
Tank Bigsby rushed four times for 34 yards (8.5 yards per carry) in Week 11. Back in Week 8, Bigsby rushed nine times for 104 yards (11.6 yards per carry). Bigsby has displayed solid efficiency as a guy who had some big weeks back as a Jaguar, and is a great handcuff to stash behind Saquon Barkley.
Ollie Gordon II (RB, Dolphins)
Rookie Ollie Gordon II played a complementary role to De’Von Achane in Week 11 with nine rushes for 45 yards and a touchdown. Gordon now has two rushing touchdowns on the year with two games of 45+ rushing yards. You likely cannot bank on stand-alone value for Gordon weekly, but he is a great handcuff to stash behind Achane.
Xavier Legette (WR, Panthers)
Xavier Legette caught four of his eight targets for 83 yards and a touchdown in Week 11 for 18.3 Fantasy Points. This was the third time this season Legette earned eight or more targets, the second time he produced 80+ receiving yards, his third touchdown scored of the year, and the second time he scored 18+ Fantasy Points. Monitor Legette’s hip injury.
Devin Neal (RB, Saints)
Before the Week 11 BYE, rookie Devin Neal rushed for times for 22 yards (5.5 yards per carry) and caught three balls for nine yards. Seven touches were a season-high, and Neal’s role seems to be growing behind Alvin Kamara. At minimum, Neal is a solid handcuff to stash behind a veteran lead running back.
AJ Barner (TE, Seahawks)
AJ Barner caught 10 of his 11 targets for 70 yards in Week 11 for 17.1 Fantasy Points. Barner has finished six weeks with double-digit Fantasy Points and two weeks with 17+ Fantasy Points. Barner has four receiving touchdowns this year and six rushing attempts across the last four weeks with one rushing touchdown. Barner is obviously very important to Seattle.
John Metchie III (WR, Jets)
John Metchie III caught all three targets for 45 yards and a touchdown in Week 11 for 13.5 Fantasy Points. This was Metchie’s second game as a Jet. Metchie was a second-round draft pick back in 2022, who can grow into a more prominent role in New York, especially with Garrett Wilson on the IR.
Adonai Mitchell (WR, Jets)
In Adonai Mitchell’s season debut as a Jet in Week 11, he led the team in targets with six. Unfortunately, AD caught just one of those targets for 10 yards. With Garrett Wilson on the IR and Mitchell leading in targets for Week 11, comes the possibility for better days ahead with the Jets as a field-stretcher.
Tyjae Spears (RB, Titans)
Tyjae Spears did not do much on the ground in Week 11, but he did catch five balls for 31 yards. Spears has earned at least eight touches across the last five weeks with 17.2 Fantasy Points in Week 8 due to 59 rushing yards and a touchdown. The Titans offense is rough, so the ceiling is limited for Spears, but if he assumes the RB1 role at any time he could be a Fantasy riser.
Pat Bryant (WR, Broncos)
Rookie Pat Bryant caught five of his six targets for 82 yards in Week 11, which were all season-highs. The Broncos selected Bryant in the third round, and he can be a late-season riser as the potential Broncos #3 target.
Players to Watch for Monday Night Football:
I am writing this article prior to Monday Night Football. We have the Raiders and Cowboys facing off.
Tyler Lockett was a sleeper of mine for the week due to his leading the Raiders in receiving for Week 10, and his previous connection with Geno Smith in Seattle. Tre Tucker and rookies Jach Bech, along with D’Onte Thornton, should be reflected on following this game.
Rookie Jaydon Blue for the Cowboys has finished with eight touches in back-to-back games, so he should be monitored for Week 11 as well.
