Jade Cargill became the new WWE women’s champion last weekend (Nov. 1) at Saturday Night’s Main Event in a one-sided match where she easily overpowered the injured Tiffany Stratton.
Cargill had her first interview as heel champion during tonight’s (Nov. 7) episode of SmackDown. She kept it short and sweet, putting the entire WWE locker room on notice by hearkening back to her AEW catchphrase: “I’m that bitch!”
Cargill crossed paths with Charlotte Flair as she made her exit from the ring. Perhaps Cargill vs. Flair will be coming up soon if The Queen drops the WWE women’s tag team championship next week.
In the meantime, an angle was shot for Cargill to face B-Fab next week on SmackDown, so her title reign might just start with a squash match.
