Iowa State football TE Ben Brahmer scores TD a week after being carted off field

Matt Campbell provides an update on Iowa State tight end Ben Brahmer
Hear from Iowa State head coach Matt Campbell on the status of Cyclones’ tight end Ben Brahmer.
What a difference a week makes.
Last week, Iowa State football tight end Ben Brahmer was carted off the field and taken to the hospital after he collapsed following a scary hit during the Cyclones’ loss to Arizona State.
On Nov. 8, Brahmer not only suited back up for the Cyclones, but he also put the first points of the game on the board vs. TCU.
Early in the opening quarter, Brahmer caught a pass from quarterback Rocco Becht in the middle of the field, turned, avoided a tackle and ran through a couple more defenders before reaching the ball out to cross the goal line for a score. The touchdown made it 6-0 Cyclones after a failed 2-point try.
Check out the play below.
