Are the Dallas Cowboys playing today? NFL Week 10 schedule, matchups, teams on a bye

NFL midseason superlatives: The biggest busts so far

USA TODAY Sports’ Joe Rivera and Chris Bumbaca dish out which players, coaches, and teams have been the biggest letdowns so far.

The Dallas Cowboys’ star won’t be shining bright in Week 10.

Fresh off a deflating loss to the Arizona Cardinals on “Monday Night Football” in Week 9, Dallas is headed for a much-needed reset. The bye week has arrived for the Cowboys, and they are one of four teams that get the privilege of taking a vacation before returning to action in Week 11.

While players get their minds off their 3-5-1 record after nine games, coaches will do some soul-searching to turn it around before the stretch run.

Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens have all starred at various points in 2025, but the defense remains the thing holding Dallas back.

If they want the playoffs in their future, that’ll have to start in Week 11 against the Las Vegas Raiders on “Monday Night Football.”

Just eight games separate the Cowboys between the offseason or a playoff run. The way they respond out of the bye week might go a long way in determining which road Dallas ends up traveling down.

Here’s what to know about Week 10.
