Amy Schumer is starting fresh on social media.
On Tuesday night, Schumer revealed that she had deleted all her pre-weight-loss photos on Instagram. To a carousel of four pictures of the comedian and actress in a red mini dress and black pumps, she captioned the post, “Back on my staircase bullshit again … I actually left my house tonight. Who’s proud? I’m feeling good and happy. Deleted my old pics for no reason!”
The post showed the Kinda Pregnant star debuting a new look as a result of her weight loss medication. She has previously said that she took Ozempic initially and said the experience was “horrible” and “makes you extremely prone to nausea,” which caused her to be sick during her pregnancy. “I tried Ozempic almost three years ago and I was bedridden, I was vomiting, and then you have no energy. But other people take it and they’re all good, so I know God bless them,” she said on The Howard Stern Show in January.

Earlier this year, she revealed on Instagram (in a now-deleted post) that she started taking weight loss medication Wegovy and endured bad side effects. Her most recent medication has been Mounjaro, with which she’s had a “really good experience.”
The Trainwreck actress has previously been vocal about her weight. She opened up about having underwent liposuction. “It’s not about needing to be slamming, because I’ve never been famous for being hot, but I’d reached a place where I was tired of looking at myself in the mirror,” she told The Hollywood Reporter in 2022.
