Raghopur Election Result 2025 Live: Tejashwi Yadav catches up, just 106 votes behind BJP’s Satish Kumar

Raghopur has an exceptional political legacy, having elected two Chief Ministers—Lalu Prasad Yadav (1995, 2000) and Rabri Devi (2000 bypoll, twice in 2005)—as well as a Deputy Chief Minister, their son Tejashwi Yadav (2015 and 2020).

Interestingly, apart from two Chief Ministers and one Deputy Chief Minister, Raghopur has also elected three Union Ministers. Ram Vilas Paswan, his son Chirag Paswan, and his younger brother Pashupati Kumar Paras were elected as MPs from Hajipur and became Union Ministers. Despite this, Raghopur has been consistently neglected by its elected representatives.
