It’s time to dust off the bald caps, as Pitbull is heading on the road near Greater Manchester.

The American rapper and singer, known for songs like I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho), Hotel Room Service and Timber, has today been announced as a headliner of the hugely-successful Lytham Festival.

Situated just over an hour’s drive away from Manchester in Lancashire’s Lytham St Annes, the festival has attracted some of the biggest names in music over the years, including the likes of Justin Timberlake, Lionel Ritchie and Def Leppard and Mötley Crüe.

Pitbull will perform at the 2026 festival on Sunday, July 5. He joins already-announced artists Teddy Swims, performing on Lytham Festival’s opening night of July 1, and the Pet Shop Boys, who will play on July 4 with tickets going on sale next week via Ticketmaster.

Affectionally known as Mr Worldwide to his fans, Pitbull, who is known as Armando Christian Perez off-stage, went viral earlier this year when fans flocked to his huge sold-out show at The O2.

Hoards of fans, who have since been dubbed The Bald E’s, attended the show in bald caps and suits, including Radio 1 presenter Greg James. He also played a big show at Co-op Live with fans taking on the same attire.

Playing Lytham Festival as part of his I’m Back! Tour, Pitbull has teased fans that the upcoming show will feature ‘highly stunning visuals, explosive pyrotechnics, and signature performances’. Pre-sale will begin from 12pm on Thursday (October 9), with general sale beginning on Friday (October 10) at 10am.

He will be joined by his band, The Agents, alongside his dancers who are referred to as The Most Bad Ones. Tickets will go on sale next week.

Lytham Festival co-founder Peter Taylor said: “This is huge! Pitbull is one of the hottest tickets around and this will be the first time we have a headlining show from a much-celebrated rap artist.

“We cannot wait to welcome him to our wonderful festival and I absolutely want to see a sea of bald caps on Lytham Green.

“Pitbull is an artist who has enjoyed hit after hit globally. He is Mr Worldwide and he really does present the ultimate party. This is going to be one incredible way to close the celebrations of our 15th anniversary festival.”

TK Maxx presents Lytham Festival 2026 returns Wednesday 1 to Sunday 5 July. Tickets will be available via Ticketmaster. More information on the festival can be found here.
