Isla Fisher Gets Candid About Rebuilding Her Life Post-Divorce: ‘Challenging, But Deeply Rewarding’

Isla Fisher is sharing what it has been like for her to start over in the wake of her divorce from Sacha Baron Cohen.
The 49-year-old actress chatted with Elle Decoration about moving into her new London home and taking a while to get used to this new phase in her life.

Speaking on the decoration process, she said, “When it all arrived, I did have a bit of a cry because this was my first time as a single woman, being in a home of my own.”
But the Now You See Me: Now You Don’t star also said, “Trying to create a new life from a grassroots level, at least emotionally, has been challenging, but deeply rewarding.”
She and Sacha finalized their divorce over the summer. They have three children together, two daughters and one son.
“I’m enjoying this new version of my life I don’t need to party in my house anymore. I love to get in the bath. I’ll light some candles, bring in my laptop and put on something on Netflix. That’s as exciting as it gets,” Isla revealed.
