With John Cena set for his final appearance on WWE Raw on November 17 at Madison Square Garden, his night will certainly be special.
While no specific match has been announced in advance for Cena, the new Intercontinental Champion could certainly have several big names looking to fight in New York City.
Here are five final opponents on WWE Raw for John Cena.
5. CM Punk
While they previously tangled in Cena’s farewell tour, the bout at Night of Champions back in June was definitely still under the auspices of Cena being a heel.
With one final opportunity for the pair to have a one-on-one showdown, it could be a fun throwback to see the duo mix it up in Madison Square Garden one last time.
While there wouldn’t necessarily be a huge emotional rationale behind the match, it could be that in order to get Cena to agree to be on his WarGames team, CM Punk has to wrestle him in singles action.
Whatever the set up — WWE fans would certainly love to see the pair have a singles match again before Cena’s final farewell.
