Giants-Packers inactives: CB Paulson Adebo a late scratch for New York

[UPDATE 12:45 P.M. ET]: Cornerback Paulson Adebo, who was expected to return to the lineup for the Giants on Sunday, has been ruled out. The team announced that Adebo felt discomfort in his knee while warming up and will now miss a fourth consecutive game.

The New York Giants will be without quarterback Jaxson Dart, wide receiver Darius Slayton and three defensive starters — edge defender Kayvon Thibodeaux, defensive tackle Rakeem Nunez-Roches and safety Tyler Nubin on Sunday afternoon against the Green Bay Packers.

Jameis Winston will make his first start for the Giants with Dart (concussion) sidelined. Newly-resigned Isaiah Hodgins and Jalin Hyatt will likely split time at wide receiver in place of Slayton.

Thibodeaux’s absence likely means a higher percentage of defensive snaps for both Brian Burns and Abdul Carter. The absence of Nunez-Roches might be one reason the Giants elevated defensive tackle Elijah Chatman from the practice squad.
