Steelers’ Jalen Ramsey ejected vs. Bengals for throwing a punch

For the second straight week, a defensive star has been ejected for unsportsmanlike conduct.
Pittsburgh Steelers defensive back Jalen Ramsey was ejected for throwing a punch against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.
Early in the fourth quarter, Ramsey was jawing at Bengals star Ja’Marr Chase, before grabbing his face mask and connecting on a punch to the helmet.
Commanders defensive tackle Daron Payne was ejected for a similar action on Monday, and later received a one-game suspension for his actions.
Ramsey has been one of the best cornerbacks in football since entering the league in 2016. The 31-year-old is a three-time First-Team All-Pro and a seven-time Pro Bowler with 25 interceptions and 113 passes defended.
He was dealt to Pittsburgh from Miami in the off-season, and has one pick through nine games. With the Steelers’ injuries in the secondary, the long-time corner has recently been at safety to add depth and versatility to the back-end.
