John Cena Next Two WWE Matches Confirmed Ahead Of Retirement

WWE

The next two matches for John Cena have officially been confirmed ahead of his upcoming WWE retirement in December.

Tonight marked John Cena’s last ever WWE Raw appearance, taking place at Madison Square Garden.

Having won the Intercontinental Championship from Dominik Mysterio last week, Cena kicked off tonight’s show.

However, it wasn’t long at all before he was interrupted by Mysterio, who wanted a title rematch.

When Cena offered him a rematch tonight, Mysterio rejected that, and instead said he wanted it to take place at Survivor Series on November 29 in Mysterio’s hometown of San Diego, which Cena agreed to.

Mysterio’s Judgment Day teammates Finn Balor and JD McDonagh then came out and they began a three-on-one attack on Cena.

Help for Cena wasn’t far behind, as Sheamus and Rey Mysterio both came out to give him an assist and even the odds.

That set up an impromptu six-man tag team bout for right now, which is officially Cena’s last ever WWE Raw match – John Cena, Sheamus and Rey Mysterio vs Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor and JD McDonagh.

UPDATE: Cena, Sheamus and Rey Mysterio were victorious as Cena pinned McDonagh.

Cena only has two WWE appearances left after tonight before his retirement – the match against Dominik at Survivor Series, and then his retirement match at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13 against the winner of the ‘Last Time Is Now’ tournament.
