TRIO TO MAKE LONG-AWAITED RETURN FOR PREM RUGBY CUP CLASH
James Williams, Max Lahiff and George Taylor return to action for the Bears’ PREM Rugby Cup clash with Exeter Chiefs at Sandy Park on Saturday (3pm KO).
The trio are named in the starting XV for the trip to Devon, as the Bears select 11 current Academy players in the matchday squad.
Lahiff starts at loosehead alongside the experienced Harry Thacker, who captains the side, and Lovejoy Chawatama, while Williams partners Academy centre Victor Worsnip in the midfield.
Taylor is selected on the blindside flank alongside Kenzie Jenkins and John Edwards in the back row, while in the backline, Sam Worsley returns at fly half to partner Sam Wolstenholme.
