Livingston manager David Martindale tells BBC Scotland: “We looked at Rangers at the start of the week and felt they would probably be a 3-4-2-1, but a couple of changes so I don’t know if it will be that three or not.

“Really then it was about ourselves and how we can get something from the game.

“We want to keep the ball, play, press, but we know we might have to do that from a mid or low block.

“The boys coming in [for Rangers] have got to impress, so there’s motivation there. I don’t see it as a backwards step for Rangers in all honesty.

“For us, it’s about learning every week and adapting to life in the Premiership. I’m fairly happy with where we are other than the league position.”
