Who is Ryan Puglisi?
Ryan Puglisi is a redshirt freshman reserve quarterback for Georgia who once also played baseball. Puglisi hails from the New England area where he attended Avon Old Farms High School in Avon, Conn., and was coached by Jon Wholley. In his senior season, he led Avon Old Farms to a 7-2 record and an appearance in the Drew Gamere NEPSAC Bowl with 118 completions for 1,693 yards and 14 touchdowns, adding three more touchdowns with his feet. In his junior season, with nine starts, he recorded 133 completions for 1,904 yards and 16 touchdowns.

The 6-foot-3, 210-pound signal-caller out of Avon Old Farms High School in Avon, Conn., was the 10th ranked QB in the recruiting class and third-best player in the state.
Puglisi enrolled with the Bulldogs on Jan. 8, 2024. He chose Georgia over offers from Akron, Alabama, Boston College, Duke, Indiana, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Pitt, Rutgers, Temple, UConn, UMass, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech and West Virginia.
