IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY
Make it your aim over the coming year to worry less about what people think of your ambitions. If you feel compelled to follow a particular path through life that is all the excuse you need. It’s probably what you were born to do.
Your passion for life is admirable but be careful you don’t take on too much too early in the week or you could find yourself running out of steam later on. Forget about planning ahead and focus your efforts on one big aim at a time.
The upheavals that are taking place in your world are here to stay and no amount of wishful thinking is going to change that, so resolve to work with those upheavals rather than fight against them. They could actually be good for you.
The moment a friend or family member tries to interfere in your personal affairs you must let them know their help isn’t needed. They mean well, of course, but the onus is on you to find solutions to your current emotional problems.
Is the world turning against you? It may seem that way at times but almost certainly it is just your own mindset that makes it look as if you are surrounded by enemies. Your only real enemy is your own negative outlook. Fix it!
LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):
The influence of both the sun and Mars in the most dynamic area of your chart means you won’t allow anyone or anything to come between you and your creative goals. Don’t be too ruthless about it though – you don’t want friendships to suffer.
Don’t worry too much if friends and family members seem less than supportive today. Most likely they have major issues of their own to deal with and don’t have the time to focus on your needs as well. You’re quite capable of sorting yourself out.
Keep what you are planning to yourself today. The less others know about what you are up to the less likely it is they will be able to place obstacles in your path. Why would they want to do that? Because they fear your success.
If you have to take on a new responsibility today then do so gladly and let others know they can trust you to make a good job of it. Aim to be the best at what you do, even if you would rather be doing something different.
Mars in your sign could make you somewhat reckless over the next few days but that’s no bad thing. You are at your best when you are being challenged and if life isn’t challenging you enough then by all means put yourself to the test!
Do your own research and make your own decisions over the next 24 hours rather than rely on what other people have to tell you. That does not mean you can’t trust them but you should be trusting your own insights more.
If someone you live or work with seems determined to take the opposite view of everything you say then maybe you need to get away from them for a while. Constructive criticism is fine so long as it does not become an everyday thing.
Some people believe the best way to get what they want is to pummel rivals into submission but you know that approach will lose more than it gains in the long-term. Use your powers of persuasion to win colleagues round to your way of thinking.
