Officers from multiple agencies are on scene
I’m a CBC correspondent in Washington. I’m at the scene of the shooting, which is two blocks north of the White House.
There are dozens of law enforcement personnel in sight behind the yellow police tape, including members of the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department officers, the U.S. Secret Service and National Guard.
An officer just came up to tell the numerous media here that we’re going to have to move back another block.
