Parity was the theme for this year’s Grammy nomination announcement, with four big artists garnering nods across the top categories: Bad Bunny, Lady Gaga and Kendrick Lamar and Sabrina Carpenter. Lamar notched nine nominations Friday morning, leading a diverse slate of acts. Meanwhile, Lady Gaga earned seven, and Sabrina Carpenter, Bad Bunny and newcomer Leon Thomas each received six.
