Walmart recalls: Ozark Trail camping stove, helmets recalled

Two popular Walmart products have been recalled with warnings to customers to stop using them.
According to a story by Newsweek, the products were recalled following safety warnings from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).
Walmart has recalled the Ozark Trail Tabletop 1-Burner Butane Camping Stove and Outdoor Master children’s and youth helmets. The camping stoves have reportedly caused injuries because of explosions and fires, Newsweek said. It also said the helmets failed to meet safety standards, exposing children to the risk of serious injuries or death in a crash.
A Walmart spokesperson told Newsweek that customers should stop using both products and return them to the store for a full refund.
The Ozark Trail Tabletop 1-Burner Butane Camping Stoves were manufactured by China Window Industry Co., Ltd., of Taipei, Taiwan. The stoves were sold at Walmart stores nationwide and online at Walmart.com from March 2023 to October 2025, with prices from $8 to $45.
The Outdoor Master-branded children’s and youth helmets were imported by Maysun Products, Inc., of Chino, California. They were sold online from June 2024 through February 2025 for $20 to $32.
