South Park fans have given Pete Hegseth a new, less-than-flattering nickname inspired by his character on the show.

The Secretary of War was hilariously mocked in Wednesday night’s Thanksgiving episode of the adult animated series, which took jabs at the former TV personality’s rebranding of the Department of Defense to the Department of War. Set to the tune of Kenny Loggins’ “Highway to the Danger Zone,” a montage depicted Hegseth as an invading force in the fictional town, live streaming his antics with a selfie stick.

The catchy song labeled him a “f—–g d—-e,’ during an episode where a fan favorite character returned. The brutal nickname has apparently stuck, with fans of the show blasting Hegseth, whose own mom accused him of abusing women in a damning email, on social media.

The use of the Kenny Loggins song may be a reference to Donald Trump’s bizarre AI-generated video of himself flying a military plane while dumping fecal matter on No Kings protesters that he shared on Truth Social.

In the episode, the song’s chorus was replaced with the phrase,” a moniker that has since caught on among the show’s fanbase, who have taken to social media to echo the sentiment.

This comes amid bombshell health claims made by the daughter of Donald Trump’s doctor.

The use of the Kenny Loggins track may be a nod to Trump’s peculiar AI-generated video shared on Truth Social, which showed him piloting a military plane and dropping fecal matter on No Kings protestors, reports the Irish Star.

In the South Park episode, the song’s chorus was replaced with the phrase, “Pete Hegseth is a f—–g d—-e,” repeated ad nauseam as Hegseth and the military caused chaos in South Park, arresting Turkey Trot runners and firing off military weapons. The montage even included a clip of Hegseth doing pull-ups, poking fun at his viral pull-up challenge video with RFK Jr.

The remaining lyrics sang, “Acting like a tough guy, posting it around the world… Making lots of content, like a little teenage girl.”

Fans were delighted by the parody, flocking to social media to bestow Pete with his new moniker. One Redditor commented, “This season has now become a ‘How Much Can We Piss Off The Government’ Challenge.”

Another chimed in, “I wonder if Pete’s gonna lose his s–t over this episode.”

Others simply echoed the chorus, with posts like “Pete Hegseths a f—-n d—-e” and “PEEEEETE HEGSETHHHH IS A F—–G D—-E.”

One viewer joked, “Man, I can’t believe South Park got Pete Hegseth to play a non-exaggerated version of himself on the show. That’s crazy.”

Pete was also depicted clashing with Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, who has been mocked by the animated series in previous episodes. She shoots a dog and attempts to hijack Pete’s invasion of South Park, telling her social media followers, “Like and subscribe, guys!”.

Pete fires back at her, shouting, “This is not your content! Everyone likes and subscribes to the Department of War!”

This season has intensified political mockery, taking aim at Donald Trump, who is expecting a baby with Satan, as well as J.D. Vance, Karoline Leavitt, and Stephen Miller, among many others.

The final episode of Season 28 of South Park airs on December 10 at 10 p.m. EST on Comedy Central and will be available to stream the next day on Paramount+.
