Build the Perfect Lineup with Sims Tools

If you’ve ever entered a Sunday slate thinking, “This is my week; everything’s lining up,” you already know how that ends. The moment confidence turns to certainty, DFS reminds us who’s really in control. Fortunately, Week 13 feels just uncertain enough to deliver big. In this week’s Perfect Lineup, we dive into a strange slate: Thin quarterback options, volatile matchups and plenty of hidden value. As always, we built the cores and stacks, ran them through the Single Lineup Simulator, and searched for the combination of projection, leverage, and ceiling that can produce the elusive NFL DFS perfect lineup.

NFL DFS Week 13 Picks: Build the Perfect DraftKings Lineup with Sims

Lineup 1: Josh Allen Going Naked for Upside

When the field zigs, we zag. We started with a Josh Allen lineup that had no Buffalo stack. Instead of forcing correlations, we let the salary flexibility open new doors.

Allen brings elite rushing equity, so even without stacking, he can anchor a high-upside build. To unlock the rest of the lineup, Adonai Mitchell was added as a salary-saving dart — a sub-$4,000 receiver stepping into targets with Garrett Wilson out.

Lineup 2: The Chargers Bounce Back

The second lineup turned to a familiar duo in a must-score spot. Justin Herbert and Keenan Allen headline this build against a Raiders defense ranked among the most pass-friendly units in football.

To make it unique, we paired the stack with Oronde Gadsden II and Brock Bowers, creating a double-tight end setup that few hand-builders would attempt. Bowers is the centerpiece of his offense and offers tournament-winning potential even in down matchups.

Lineup 3: Deep-Value Quarterback with Breece Hall

Tyrod Taylor at $4,300 might not inspire confidence, but in DFS, salary relief buys ceiling elsewhere. His modest rushing ability and neutral matchup make him viable if surrounded by premium skill players.

Taylor was paired with John Metchie III for a cheap stacking option, plus Breece Hall, whose 100-plus-yard rushing + receiving prop and $6,000 price tag scream misprice. Add Bijan Robinson on the other side of that game for correlation and Kenneth Walker for explosive upside, and the structure suddenly makes sense.
