National Signing Day 2026: Where did the nation’s top high school football players commit?

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Wednesday is National Signing Day for the high school football class of 2026. That means it’s the first opportunity for thousands of football players to sign their National Letters of Intent with the college of their choice.

This is technically the start of the Early Signing Period. But because the vast majority of top prospects sign in this period, this is essentially the true National Signing Day.

As is the case every year, one question is where the top prospects in the country will be signing.

Most of the big names have already committed, although they won’t necessarily sign with that school on National Signing Day. Flips and decommits happen often, so you’ll need to keep track of where the top players are signing.

Throughout National Signing Day, you can keep track of where the top prospects in high school football are committed and are expected to sign their National Letters of Intent.

This post will be updated throughout the day as the statuses and commitments for different players will change.

Here are the top prospects in the class of 2026 according to 247Sports.com’s composite rankings.
