A dominant first half by Connacht in Bridgend with the
Irish province leading 21-5 in the Challenge Cup opener against Ospreys.
Props Finlay Bealham and Jack Aungier went over either
side of a Sean Jansen finish as Stuart Lancaster’s men ran hard and direct.
Wales flanker Harri Deaves has given Ospreys some hope by
going over with the final play of the half.
Connacht were top seeds after last season’s group stages,
only to lose to Racing 92 in the quarter-finals, and have made an impressive
start.
