Sixers vs. Lakers: Final playing status for Joel Embiid, Paul George

PHILADELPHIA — As the Philadelphia 76ers prepare for the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday, they will be looking to build on their current 3-game winning streak. The Sixers have been piecing it together despite having guys going in and out of the lineup and this contest against the Lakers will be no different.

While Kelly Oubre Jr. and Trendon Watford will be sidelined, the Sixers will have Joel Embiid back on the floor for this one. He missed Friday’s win over the Milwaukee Bucks on the second night of a back-to-back. The big fella is continuing to work his way back from left knee injury recovery as well as right knee injury recovery.

Paul George will also play against the Lakers. He was listed as questionable due to left knee injury recovery, but the Sixers will have him on the floor for another game in an effort to continue growing as a team.

Tip off between the Sixers and the Lakers will be at 7:30 p.m. EST.
