LeBron James’ Clutch 4Q, Luka Doncic’s Triple-Double Wow NBA Fans as Lakers Top 76ers

Luka Doncic notched a triple-double as LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers secured a 112-108 road win over Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday.

Doncic delivered a standout performance, finishing with 31 points, 15 rebounds and 11 assists while shooting 9-of-24 from the field. James added 29 points on 12-of-17 shooting along with seven rebounds and six assists to fuel the Lakers.

Fans reacted to Doncic’s and James’ strong outing as the duo powered Los Angeles to the win.

The Lakers improved to 17-6 with the win, pulling even with the second-place Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference standings. The 76ers fell out of the top six, dropping to eighth in the East at 13-10.

Tyrese Maxey posted 28 points, seven rebounds and nine assists in the loss, while Embiid added 16 points and seven rebounds. 

Philadelphia held a seven-point lead at halftime, fueled by 15 points from Maxey and eight from Embiid. Los Angeles’ starters carried the load with just two bench points, as LeBron James entered the break with 10 points and Doncic led the way with 19 points, eight rebounds and five assists.

The Lakers outscored the 76ers by 10 in the third quarter to take a three-point lead into the fourth and never looked back, closing out the game with a four-point victory.

Los Angeles will look to carry its momentum into Wednesday’s matchup against San Antonio.
