Tulane makes Will Hall head coach

Charles Huff landed atop Memphis.
Chris Hampton is staying put as top defensive lieutenant to Dan Lanning at Oregon.
Tulane’s coaching search? It has another wrinkle.
With sources Sunday night telling FootballScoop that Kennesaw State record-setting head coach Jerry Mack is withdrawing from consideration for the post, Tulane’s focus is shifting toward promoting Will Hall.
Monday morning sources share Hall is getting the job! Tulane has made their choice.
Tulane is sitting on more than 40 wins in the past four regular seasons, getting 20-plus wins apiece from Willie Fritz and outgoing coach Jon Sumrall during that span.
Fritz now is running the turnaround for the Houston Cougars while Sumrall is just a week into his role as the new head coach at Florida.
In making the decision to go with Hall, Tulane is saying we believe in what we have built here. Hall worked at Tulane under both Willie Fritz and Jon Sumrall.
