Liverpool leave Mohamed Salah out of squad for huge Inter Milan game

Days after his unbelievable interview, Mohamed Salah has been left out of the Liverpool squad for a huge UEFA Champions League game away at Inter Milan on Tuesday.
The news first came in reports from David Ornstein and another from Amazon Prime in the UK as they both said that Salah would not be named in Liverpool’s squad.
It remains to be seen if Salah will be recalled to Liverpool’s squad for their Premier League game at home against Brighton on Saturday, December 15, as after that game he will leave to captain Egypt at the Africa Cup of Nations and miss the busy festive period of games.
Why has Salah been left out of the Liverpool squad?
Salah gave a ranting interview to reporters on Saturday after Liverpool’s 3-3 draw at Leeds in which he said he has no relationship with Liverpool boss Arne Slot, called into question his future at the club and slammed Liverpool for throwing him under the bus as he was an unused sub at the weekend and has been on the bench for Liverpool’s last three games.
Salah was shown training with the Liverpool squad as normal on Monday before their trip to Inter Milan, but he has not flown with them to Milan and was not named in Liverpool’s 19-player squad for their crucial Champions League clash as their hopes of qualifying for the knockout rounds as one of the seeded teams is in real jeopardy.
Arne Slot is due to talk to the media at 1:45pm ET on Monday in Milan ahead of Liverpool’s game against Inter and Salah’s interview, and his future at Liverpool, will be front and center.
