2 injured in 4-alarm fire burning through Upper West Side of Manhattan apartment building

UPPER WEST SIDE, Manhattan (WABC) — A four-alarm fire is burning on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.
The fire broke out inside a building on West 106th Street and Amsterdam Avenue on Tuesday morning.
Flames could be seen shooting through the roof and top floor.
One person was carried down from the building.
So far, two injuries are reported. The extent of those injuries is not yet known.
The building is six stories and said to be a non-fireproof.
Traffic is closed in the area due to the firefighting efforts.
NYCEM is responding to the scene with warming buses for any displaced residents.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
