Country music star announces biggest career move yet

Country singer Megan Moroney will embark on her biggest headlining tour to date in 2026, performing 43 shows across three continents.

The 28-year-old artist revealed plans for the “Cloud 9 Tour” on Instagram Thursday, announcing dates that will take her to North America and Europe.

The tour launches May 29, 2026, at the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio, and wraps Oct. 1 at the SSE Arena in Belfast, according to the announcement.

Moroney will perform at major venues including Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, and Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

The international leg includes stops in Oslo, Stockholm, Cologne, Paris, and London, among other cities.

“The Cloud 9 Tour is coming soon to an arena near you,” Moroney wrote in her announcement.

The tour takes its name from Moroney’s third studio album, which is scheduled for release Feb. 20.

Her previous headlining run, the “Am I Okay? TOUR,” broke attendance records at several venues across the United States, according to Parade. The upcoming tour will also feature appearances at summer music festivals.

Tickets become available through an artist pre-sale starting Dec. 11 at 10 a.m. local time. General public sales begin Dec. 12 at 10 a.m. local time through meganmoroney.com/tour.

“Moroney’s star has been steadily rising and with a new album and her first major headlining arena tour, it appears like the once up-and-coming country star is now a fully shining country star,” Malcolm Abram, a music and entertainment writer for cleveland.com, said.

Abram added, “[Cleveland] area fans who saw her at Nautica this past June for her ‘Am I Okay? Tour’ should feel special because they will probably not see her in a venue that ‘small’ anytime soon.”

The North American portion of the tour runs through August, with performances scheduled in major markets including Chicago, Atlanta, Boston, Philadelphia, Miami, Denver, Seattle, and Dallas. The tour includes stops in Toronto and covers venues from the Midwest to both coasts. After Nashville’s show Aug. 21, Moroney heads overseas for the European dates beginning in mid-September.
