Two individuals have been listed in a searchable database created by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) that tracks the deportation of illegal aliens convicted of violent crimes.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security says the new webpage, “Worst of the Worst” (wow.dhs.gov), aggregates information on criminal illegal aliens arrested by DHS during enforcement operations since the start of the Trump Administration. The webpage allows visitors to search through some of the hundreds of thousands of criminal illegal aliens who have been arrested across all 50 states, with criminal histories that include homicide, assault, rape, drug trafficking, child molestation, cruelty toward a child, battery, and armed robbery, among other crimes.
Two individuals arrested and convicted in Accomack County for violent offenses have been added.
Yvrose Compere, of Haiti, was convicted of aggravated assault involving a family member and a weapon. Brayan Velasquez Velasquez, of Guatemala, was convicted of assault and aggravated assault on a police officer. Both individuals have been deported to their countries of origin.
No individuals in Northampton County currently appear in the database.
As ShoreDailyNews.com reported earlier this year, ICE regularly operates in both Counties. After an illegal alien is arrested, charged, and convicted of a crime, the agency has a set period of time to take custody and begin the deportation process. The DHS database includes only individuals determined to have been convicted of violent crimes.
