A NEPO baby who landed a top Hollywood role with Glen Powell was spotted in New York City.

The British actress, 23, is the daughter of a very famous Welsh dad, who has notched up a number of entries on the UK Singles Chart, singing for royalty including Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Diana.

But his daughter has taken a different turn when it comes to career moves, distancing herself from her dad’s musical roots.

Emilia Jones was born in 2002, to her famous dad and circus performer mum Claire Fossett, and was raised in Barnes, south west London, alongside younger brother Lucas,.

Her first acting gig came at the tender age of eight, where she played Jasmine in 2011 romantic drama One Day.

She followed this up by picking up a role playing Alice in Channel 4 drama Utopia, before landing an appearance as a young Queen of Years Merry Gejelh in Doctor Who.

The star then picked up a lead role in 2020 in Netflix fantasy drama series Locke & Key, before her career went stratospheric after picking up a role in 2021 comedy drama CODA.

The coming-of-age flick gained huge international recognition, winning Best Picture at the Academy Awards in 2022, giving her acting career a huge boost.

She has since starred in flicks including 2023’s psycho-thriller Cat Person and 2024 black comedy drama Winner.

The actress is currently in New York where she is promoting her latest film The Running Man.

She appears in the dystopian action thriller alongside Glen Powell, Daniel Ezra, Michael Cera, and Lee Pace.

And the film was created with a budget of £82 million ($110 million), the highest budget project this nepo baby has appeared in.

The star, who donned a stunning chequed two-piece blazer and skirt combo with a white shirt and heels.

But with her acting profile soaring in the past few years, who is the nepo baby’s dad?

Her father is none other than Aled Jones, the Welsh musician, actor and TV presenter.

He became well-known for his singing abilities – which were lauded by royalty and public figures.

Aled has even sang in front of the late Queen Elizabeth II, King Charles and Princess Diana, and also performed for Pope John Paul II.

He also sang at the wedding of Bob Geldof and Paula Yates in 1986.

Aled previously shared his shock and admiration over his daughter’s Oscar triumph for film CODA

Aled then picked up a string of TV presenting duties, becoming one of the main presenters of Songs Of Praise in 2003, a role he continues to hold to this day.

He’s also hosted editions of Escape To The Country, along with a string of daytime presenting roles on a number of ITV programmes.

Aled was awarded the Member of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for his services to music and broadcasting and for charitable services after being included in the 2013 Birthday Honours List.

Speaking in 2022 fresh off her Oscars triumph, Aled said he “couldn’t believe” his youngster was already part of Hollywood history, but added she was always his “little Mils”.
