The rain is mostly gone in South Florida. Coming next? A pleasant change.
Wednesday, which started out in the upper-60s and low-70s in Miami-Dade and Broward, will be warmer and drier than Tuesday, when it rained and rained and rained.
But South Florida will feel some relief by Thursday morning, when cooler air moves to town. It won’t get nearly as cold as Central and North Florida, which can expect the 30s and 40s. In South Florida, temperatures are forecast to dip into the mid- to upper-50s.
“Sweater weather is around the corner,” said CBS News Miami meteorologist Shane Hinton.
As a front moves out, cooler and drier air will move in between Wednesday and Thursday, Hinton said,.
“We are going to see some improvements,” he said. “It will be feeling a lot cooler.”

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high of 80, low 58 under mostly clear skies.
Thursday: Sunny, with a high of 75, low 60 and mostly clear.
Friday: Sunny, with a high of 77, low 66 and partly cloudy.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, high of 79, low 70 with 20% rain chance.
Sunday: High of 80 with a 30% rain chance, low of 67 with 20% rain chance.
