New Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves tier list created through collaboration of SNK World Championship 2025 Finals competitors
Mr. Big was recently released alongside patch version 1.6.0 for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. However, it would seem that this update only focused on bug fixes rather than balance adjustments that’d be notable enough to shift the meta.
As such, it would seem that tier lists for version 1.5.0 are still relevant (aside from the fact that Mr. Big was added to the roster). A few days ago, a new collaborative tier list was released by Tamago, Koopa, DanyMaza, Wero Asamiya, CientifiKOF, DarkAngel, Lokof, Seismx, ShadowX, Uresz, Gummy, Layec, Pako, Sombra and Johny.
It’s important to highlight that a number of these players participated in the SNK World Championship 2025 Finals early last month. The highest placer among them was ZEDI|Lokof, who managed to take a respectable fifth place finish with Marco.
Within this new tier list, Hotaru Futaba is declared to be blatantly better than the rest of the cast as she’s the only one who occupies the SS tier category, which sits above all other categories for this particular list.
Hokutomaru, Terry, Marco, Billy and Kain are also said to be viable in the current meta since they’ve been placed in the S tier group. According to Johny, the placements within each group is said to be ordered from left to right.
Unsurprisingly, Tizoc is said to be the overall worst character in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves right now. Fighters like Ken, Kevin, Mai, Joe and Salvatore Ganacci are also said to be struggling compared to the rest of the roster.
