As it starts to get colder, Iowans can look forward to warm August days. And for more inspiration, the Iowa State Fair has announced the first two artists playing at the 2026 Iowa State Fair Grandstand.
Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Rod Stewart and rising country music star Lainey Wilson will perform at next year’s Grandstand. Wilson will make her debut at the Iowa State Fair Grandstand, while Stewart will be making his return to the Iowa State Fair for the first time since 1984.
