WSP arrests semi-truck driver for homicide after fatal crash on SR-167 in Auburn

AUBURN, Wash. — Washington State Patrol (WSP) is investigating a fatal crash that involved a total of three vehicles near the SR-18 interchange in Auburn Thursday morning.
One driver was killed, and the driver of the semi was arrested for vehicular homicide, according to WSP.
The crash was reported by Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) at around 7:48 a.m., blocking the northbound lanes of State Route 167 (SR-167) at SR-18.
The semi-truck driver rear-ended a car and pushed it into a truck, according to WSP.
The driver of the car that was pushed into a truck was killed, WSP said.
As of 2 p.m., all lanes reopened following the closure, WSDOT said.
