If you’re walking a dog or commuting to and from work, you are quite aware of what’s going on outside.

South Florida on Tuesday looks like Seattle or London, gloomy and rainy, and feeling cooler, too.

Rain chance during the day is 40%, but it’s likely you have felt the drops wherever you are in Miami-Dade or Broward. The chance for rain dips to 30% at night.

“Lingering moisture associated with a stalled frontal boundary to our south will keep us unsettled today with the potential for passing showers and storms this afternoon and evening,” CBS News Miami meteorologist Lisette Gonzalez reported Tuesday.

And then?

Poof. Gone with the rain. And in with the sun. Cooler temperatures are coming, too.

“Wednesday morning will be slightly cooler” with sunny skies and a low chance of rain, Gonzalez said. It will feel drier, too, with lower humidity, she said.

And there will be even more change as the week progresses.

Here’s a breakdown of what to expect, according to the National Weather Service:

South Florida weekday forecast

Tuesday: 40% chance of rain and storms, mostly cloudy, high near 76, low 68 and 30% rain chance.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 80, low 59.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 76, low 61.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 78, low 68.

South Florida weekend forecast

Saturday: A 20% chance of showers after 1 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 80, low 70 with 30% chance of rain.

Sunday: A 30% chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 80, low 67.
