Through its first two seasons, “Deal or No Deal Island” has had some heavy hitters in the reality TV world.
Viewers are reaching the end of “Survivor” season 49.
The second-to-last episode of the season, titled “The Die Is Cast,” aired on Wednesday, Dec. 10. The night ended with five contestants left for next week’s season finale.
Episode 12 saw the biggest reward of the season on the line: a Mexican food feast, an overnight stay at the “Survivor” Sanctuary and letters from home. Castaways’ advantages also came into focus as the days left in the game dwindled.
So, who went home? And who remains? Here’s what you need to know:
Who left ‘Survivor’ last night?
Steven Ramm, a 35-year-old rocket scientist, was eliminated from “Survivor” during week 12 of season 49. The Denver resident was blindsided by his closest allies, Sage Ahrens-Nichols and Kristina Mills, in a unanimous 4-1 vote.
Ahrens-Nichols and Mills discussed the benefit of keeping Ramm so he can potentially beat opponent Savannah Louie in an immunity challenge, but ultimately decided he was too big a threat himself.
“It feels pretty amazing not to be an imposter. I came in thinking I didn’t deserve to be here; now I realize I do,” Ramm said in his exit interview. “Even though it was a little failure to launch, it was a complete mission success in terms of self-discovery. That feeling of self-confidence is worth more than anything.”

Who is on the jury on ‘Survivor’?
The “Survivor” jury is made up of eliminated castaways who vote to determine the game’s winner among two or three finalists, according to RSurvivor Wiki. The eliminated castaways are those from the latter half of the season, typically past the merge portion, according to Survivor Wiki.
