In a recent interview with Deadline, Blunt revealed that Krasinski is finally working on the fourth installment of A Quiet Place (with Blunt expected to reprise her role)! “John is currently in his monastic writing cell, just dreaming it up,” she chuckled. “He has barely told me anything, so I’m excited about all of it, really.”
Not only did she confirm that Krasinski is returning to write, direct, and produce, but this also shows their professional relationship is thriving! As we said, the family of four is quite private, but Blunt’s comments in late 2025 have calmed fans’ worries about them splitting.
For those who don’t know, the Quiet Place stars started dating in 2008 after meeting that same year through mutual friends. They got engaged less than a year later in Aug 2009.
Later, they married in July 2010, and welcomed their two daughters, named Hazel, born in 2014, and Violet, born in 2016.
During an interview for ELLE’s 2025 Women In Hollywood Celebration issue, Blunt talked about how shocked she was to work alongside Krasinski for A Quiet Place, specifically on how gifted he was as a director.
“I don’t think he knew what he was capable of. So it’s sort of like watching someone discover a superpower, which was wild,” she said. “Before we started, I was like, ‘Look, I’m thrilled to be doing this with you, but do you know how to shoot this movie? Because I don’t know how to shoot a movie. So I’m just asking,’” she recalled. “He was laughing and he was like, ‘I think I do know how to shoot it. I don’t know why, but I think I do.’ Then, my God, did he. And can you imagine if he thought I was really [expletive]? That would not be good.”
She added, “I think if we had done that movie and we didn’t respect or admire each other, it would’ve been an absolute disaster.”
