Gas station, Publix sell Florida Lottery winning tickets

The luckiest Florida Lottery draw game players on Saturday, with the $1 billion Powerball jackpot, Cash4Life, Florida Lotto and Fantasy 5 big prizes on the line, played at a Publix and a gas station.
That Powerball jackpot will be up to $1.1 billion for Monday’s drawing because nobody held a ticket with 1, 28, 31, 57 and 58 with a Powerball of 16. But, a Quick Pick ticket bought at the Publix at 525 S. Belcher Rd. in Clearwater did have the five base numbers, still good for $1 million, the fourth such win in Florida since the last Powerball jackpot hit.

Earlier Saturday, the $59,439 Fantasy 5 midday jackpot numbers came up 11, 17, 29, 30 and 36, numbers chosen by a player at the Tallahassee Chevron at 6653 Thomasville Rd.
These tickets need to be cashed at the Florida Lottery main office in Tallahassee or one of the nine district offices around the state. Appointments can be made, but aren’t required.
