Since November 21, NBCUniversal networks have been blacked out on FuboTV. We’ve provided an update on the current status of the dispute and whether subscribers can receive a credit or price reduction.
Those who don’t want to get rid of FuboTV but don’t want to miss out on big games or their favorite TV shows or movies, can stream NBCUniversal channels for free through DIRECTV with a trial for new users. Sling and Peacock are other options for streaming NBC content and promotional offers are available.
NBCUniversal channels went dark on Fubo on November 21 as the two were unable to come to an agreement to renew their carriage deal.
There currently is no update on when the channels will be returning to Fubo, but they are “diligently working with NBCU in good faith to bring these channels back.”
Will I get a credit or price reduction due to the blackout?
Prices for impacted subscribers will change starting with bill cycle dates on or after January 1, 2026. Current subscribers will have a $15 credit automatically applied after December 1 if the blackout continues, which it has. Customers don’t need to contact customer support for this.
