Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift net worth compared as NFL star considers retirement

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have been together since 2023, with the NFL star’s estimated $90 million net worth vastly different from his girlfriend’s reported $1.5 billion fortune

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have both enjoyed considerable success in their respective careers, yet there’s a notable difference in the lovebirds’ net worths.
Since they started dating in the summer of 2023, Swift and Kelce have been staunch supporters of each other’s endeavors. The pop star is often spotted at Kansas City Chiefs games, even if she doesn’t make it onto the jumbotron at Arrowhead Stadium.
Meanwhile, the star tight end has crisscrossed the country to see his girlfriend perform live on tour. Over an impressive 18-year stint in the music industry, Swift has sold over 200 million albums worldwide and embarked on several profitable global tours. Her latest venture, the ‘Eras Tour,’ pulled in an estimated $2.1 billion in worldwide ticket sales, setting a new record for the highest-grossing tour ever.

Pop sensation Swift racks up huge fortune
Thanks to her extensive music catalog – coupled with tour earnings, endorsements, real estate investments, and more – the pop sensation reportedly has a whopping net worth of $1.5 billion, as per Celebritynetworth.com, reports the Mirror US.
On the flip side, Kelce boasts a respectable net worth of about $90 million. Last April, the star tight end inked a two-year, $34.3 million contract with the Chiefs, supplementing his nearly $80 million earnings from his first decade in the NFL.
Off the field, Kelce rakes in $5 million per year from endorsement deals with major brands like McDonald’s, Papa John’s, Nike, and Bud Light.

The 36 year old also co-hosts ‘New Heights’ alongside his brother Jason, with the sports podcast amassing a tremendous cult following since its debut in September of 2022.
The show’s explosive popularity caught the eye of major networks, resulting in Amazon’s Wondery podcast platform striking a whopping $100 million deal with the brothers last August.
Kelce appears to have already secured his financial future beyond the gridiron, which may be approaching sooner than fans hope. In comments to reporters last month, the 10-time Pro Bowler disclosed that he’ll wait until the conclusion of the 2025 season before making a final call on retirement.
Kelce will provide Chiefs sufficient notice
While the decision about whether to call time on his playing career will clearly require careful consideration, Kelce emphasized his desire to provide the Chiefs with sufficient notice to strategize for what comes next.
As an example, Kelce highlighted how Jason declared his retirement on March 4, 2024 after 13 seasons with the Eagles – giving Philadelphia adequate time to formulate a solid blueprint for strengthening the offensive line through the draft and free agency.

“Seeing my brother go through it and seeing – I don’t know, how the league works … I want to give the Chiefs a good opportunity, whether I come back or not, and vice versa,” Kelce said.
“It’s one of those things where I’d like to make that decision before they have draft picks and free agency opens. And they can go out there and fill the roster appropriately. All of that will be after the season. I won’t think about it until then.”
